MDL is a music composer, producer and conceptual multimedia artist from Tijuana, Mexico. He has been performing with analogue drum machines, tabletop synthesizers and groove boxes since 2010.

Deeply influenced by modern architecture, psycho-geography and science fiction themes. His recordings are based on deconstructing and restructuring rhythm patterns in real time.

The tracks on MDL's debut EP on No Devotion Records dip into rigid Terminator2 terrain with the manic analog bass run of “Alpha”, the suffocating drums of "Cougar" and the layered buildup on “Ourcq”.
